It was December 1991 when we launched our first newsletter;  a cut and paste newsletter that was photocopied at the local pharmacy, and then stuffed into envelops and mailed out. We used this format for a few years before abandoning the newsletter concept altogether. In 1997 we decided to reintroduce our newsletter, this time named "Vines to Vats”. We went hi tech using a commercial printer who printed and stuffed the newsletter into the envelopes for us!! As our business grew, we simply found it difficult to find the time to produce a newsletter on a regular basis. Since that last newsletter we have had many of our customers regularly contacting us wanting to know what is happening and what new releases we have here at Wild Goose. So through the advances of modern technology we bring you the first installment of our electronic Vines to Vats.

In 17 years of being a winery, we have been very fortunate in winning many accolades, including the Best of Show at the Indy International Wine Competition with our 1999 Gewurztraminer,  White Wine of the Year presented by the Wine Access Magazine to our 2004 Mystic River Gewurztraminer and the many gold medals received at competitions held locally, nationally, and internationally. Recently a milestone was set as Wild Goose Vineyards and Winery was chosen as B.C. Winery of the Year by the Wine Press Northwest Magazine! This was a very exciting award for the entire Kruger family who have worked so hard over the years to establish not only Wild Goose Vineyards, but in helping to put B.C. on the map as a premium wine and grape growing region. A special thanks goes out to all the hard working and loyal staff who make Wild Goose what it is today and all of our customers that have supported us over the years!

Being on our mailing list will allow you to be the first to get our new releases. Many of these wines will not be sold through regular retail channels, but only through our mailing list or tasting room. We have now released all of our 2006 white wines and new 2005 Pinot Noir and 2005 Merlot Reserve. On our website it says that our Mystic River Gewurztraminer is sold out, however,we have set some aside especially for our mailing list.
